Goal: Selecting the Optimal Experimental Approaches for Validating Emerging Neural Interface Technologies
At the NIT Laboratory, we are equipped with advanced technologies and expertise to deploy a comprehensive array of neuroscientific methods for the validation of cutting-edge neural interfaces. Our capabilities encompass: Slice Extracellular Recording, Calcium Imaging, Patch-Clamp Techniques, Rodent Stereotaxic Surgery, Immunohistochemical Staining, and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).

Future work:
- We plan on conducting free-behaving animal experiments with the microdevices chronically injected into the brain. In rat models of epilepsy, the microdevices will anticipate seizures and automatically trigger neuro-stimulation to effectively abort them.
